I was brought up by a Commonwealth athlete mother and an entrepreneur father. Throughout my whole life I have integrated both passions I have learnt from my parents. I too was a Welsh champion athlete so learnt about nutrition for sport at a very young age. I studied sport, anatomy, physiology and nutrition and went on to train as a personal trainer and a nutrition advisor.
I became a front cover fitness model, had my own fitness TV show on Sky, then opened Wales’ 1st meal prep and healthy eating restaurant, which I am proud to say won a ‘Best new business award’. Through this business, I was lucky enough to feed Sport Wales, Cardiff City, Commonwealth & Olympic athletes, some of the Welsh rugby team and most of the Hollywood A-Z listers that came to work in Cardiff! The restaurant was recognised nationwide being voted in the top 10 restaurants in Men’s Health Magazine, the Times Magazine to name but a few.
As you can see, my passion is to help and encourage people to become the happiest & healthiest they can be so I have created this fantastic recipe site.
